How to Install WPForms and Activates Salesforce Addon

Once you’ve installed WPForms, you’ll need to install the Salesforce Addon. To do this, you need go to WPForms » Addons from WordPress admin panel.

Once you’re there, you can see all addons available with your licence level.

Requirements: You will have to get the WPForms Elite plan to use the Salesforce addon in the WPForms.

If you don’t see any addons then you click on the Refresh Addons button that fix your issue.

In addition, to search specific addon, type the name of the addon in the Search Addons located at the top-right corner of the Addons page.

Once you find the right addon, simply click on the Install Addon button located on each addon.

After installing the addon, the Activate button will be displayed on the installed addon. To activate addon simply clicking on it.

Once your addon is installed and activated, when it’s ready for use will show Status: Active.

Connecting Salesforce with WPForms

Now, you’ll need to connect your Salesforce account with WPForms. To connect, navigate to Setting » Integrates and click on the Salesforce integrates.

Now, you click on Salesforce here, it will expand to Add New Account.

Click on this button to get the integrate setting the Salesforce account to wpforms. You can be able to see Callback URL here already included.

Now you copy this callback URL, then go back to salesforce setting and paste it in the Callback URL field.

Note: The Callback is a URL that Salesforce will redirect you to after you’ve allowed authorization for your connected app.

You’ll need to create an app in the Salesforce account before integrates salesforce with the WPForms.

Now, you need to open the API information in the Salesforce app and copy the Consumer Key and Consumer Secret in order to connect Salesforce with WPForms.

Go ahead! copy this Consumer Key and Consumer Secret information. Then go back to your WPForms settings and paste it into Consumer Key and Consumer Secret field.

When you’ve added your consumer key and consumer secret, then click on Connect to Salesforce button.

After this, it will direct you to the Salesforce login page, where you will have to login once more time for your Salesforce account.

After further login, Salesforce will ask you if you want to allow access to your account. Now, click on the Allow button to complete your setting process.

Once you allow access, you will be redirect to your integrate page. Where you see a message at top of the screen account connected with WPForms successfully.

Integrate Salesforce to a Form

Now, you’re ready to add it to your form. To do this, you create a form or edit the existing form.

We open our pre-made simple contact form to connect the Salesforce to the form.

After opening the form builder, click on the Salesforce under the Marketing tab to connect your form to the Salesforce. From there, you’ve to click on the Add New Connection button.

Next, it will open the overlay to add a connection name to your screen. You can give any connection name here, it will help you in tracking. Furthermore, it will not be seen by any user.

Go ahead in the next process, it will ask you to Select Account and Select Salesforce Object. So let’s know what’s in this option.

  • Select Account: This is the account of Salesforce in which you will send the form data.
  • Select Salesforce Object: Here, you’ll decide what kind of data you are sending to the Salesforce.

Once you select the Salesforce account and the Salesforce subject, you will have more options to configure the settings.

Now you will see two parts in these options, in which the first will be the Custom Field Name and the second Form Field Value.

Now complete all the fields like your Name and Email. In addition, you can also add additional fields.

Click on the + sign to integrate additional fields. And you can add the field as needed.

Once you’ve configured all settings, be sure to Save the form.

Once your form is set up and publish it. You can automatically start sending leads and contact to the Salesforce.
